Songjiang, once called Huating in ancienꦰt times, also known as Yunjian, Rongcheng, and Gushui, is a famous town south of the Yangtze River. In 751 of the Tang Dynasty, Songjiang was named Huating County. In 1277 during the Yuan Dynasty, it was named Huating Prefecture, which was changed to Songjiang Prefecture the next year. Then in 1805 in the Qing Dynasty, it was developed into Songjiang Prefecture with Huating, Shanghai, Qingp♊u, Lou, Fengxian, Jinshan, Nanhui, and Chuansha Counties subject to it. In 1912, when the prefecture was abolished, Huating and Lou were merged into Huating County of Jiangsu Province. In 1914, Huating County was changed to Songjiang County. After liberation, the area became Songjiang Special District. In March 1958, it was merged into Suzhou Special District, and in November, Songjiang became a county of Shanghai. Then in February 1998, the State Council approved Songjiang to be a district.

In 2021, the district had 143 industrial projects of which the planned amount of inves๊tment exceeded 100 million yuan. These projects reached an inves𒆙tment of 15.831-billion-yuan, accounting for 76.0% of the total investment in industrial fixed assets. Several major industrial projects, such as Wanxiang Automobile, BYD Battery, Shangshi Energy Technology, and Huadao Biological Pharmacy were settled. Many major projects were under construction including Fuhong Hanlin, Longrui Information, Sunlord Electronics, Rafael Sky City, Haier Casarte, AST, and so on.

The district continued to make efforts in rural revitalization. The District Agriculture and Rural Affairs Commission was rated as the only National Advanced Collective in Grain Production in Shanghai, and the farmers’ satisfaction with rural revitalization had been leading in Shanghai for many years. The construction of family farms continued to deepen, and the grain yield per mu, the number of live pigs, and the green food certification rate ranked among the top in Shanghai. A special campaign of eliminating illegal non-agricultural greenhouses was launched to stick to the red line policy of arable land protection. A new round of rural homestead reform was promoted, and 4,556 peasant households signed contracts for the relatively concentrated residence, forming the “Huangqiao Experience” of the rural revitalization demonst🐓ration village, the rural living environment continued to improve. 29,000 households were connected to natural gas pipelines, and 247 rural roads were upgraded. The district took the lead in completing the rural collective property rights system reform in Shanghai, building the first rural collective asset management platform in Shanghai, and piloting the entry of rural collective operational construction land into the market.

The comprehensive treatment of garbage achieved remarkable results. The classification effect was stable and good, and the domestic garbage was fully classified. The net increase of high-tech enterprises has quadrupled in five years, reaching 551 in 2021. Eleven sci-tech enterprises were approved by the 2021 Shanghai Sci-tech Little Giant Project (including cultivated enterprises), ranking third in Shanghai. There were 156 small giant enterprises in the district (including cultivated enterprises). In 2021, there were 15 newly built schools in the district, with a total investment of 590 million yuan, an increase of 56.5% over the previous year. InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland is innovative design work. It took 12 years to finish the construction of the hotel. This novel hotel follows the natural environment and makes full use of the curved surface of the quarry rock face to hang and build on it. The main body is composed of 2 layers above the surface and 15 layers 88 meters below the surface, which makes the world amazed. Sheshan National Forest Park is the only natural mountainous forest touring site in Shanghai. The Park covers an area of 267 acres with 79.44% of the scenic spot covered by forests. There are 1ꦬ2 hills in the park, stretching their way from the southwest to the northeast, like a string of jade pearls with a total length of 13km, offering Shanghai’s flat land a mountainous view. In June 1993, the former National Ministry of Forestry approved the establishment of Sheshan National Forest Park. In 2001, it was honored as one of the first national 4A-level touring sites. The scenic spots that opened to the public are East Sheshan Hill Park, West Sheshan Hill Park, Tianmashan Hill Park, and Xiaokunshan Hill Park.

郑州辰(chen)山作物(wu)园(yuan)座(zuo)落松江ꦯ区(qu)佘山欧洲国家旅游酒店度假旅游区(qu)内（辰(chen)花公路工程3888号），是水(shui)利水(shui)电工程府、国内(nei) 科学技术(shu)🐓院和国造林局合伙互建的集研发、科普讲(jiang)解和观赏荷花出游于分立式的合理性(xing)作(zuo)物园，占屋面规(gui)模207公亩,是(shi)华南国家大小最主要的(de)(de)沉(chen)(chen)水动物园(yuan)。沉(chen)(chen)水动物幼儿园(yuan)内(nei)的(de)(d💝e)辰山古遗存，2014年4月被公(gong)路工程(cheng)府颁布为济(ji)南市(shi)历(li)史(shi)文物确保(bao)机(ji)构。该✨(gai)遗(yi)迹2009本年显示，使(shi)用(yong)面(mian)积约为16公(gong)亩(mu)，进行鉴别为商周(zhou)朝代古(gu)文字化遗存。

Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden is in Sheshan National Tourist Resort (No.3888 Chenhua Highway). It is created through collaboration between the Shanghai Municipal Government, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and the State Forestry Administration, which combines scientific research, popular science, and sightseeing purpose. This remarkable 207-hectare botanical garden is the largest one in East China. Chenshan Ancient Site in the garden was𓆏 announced by Shanghai Municipal Government as a cultural relics protection unit of Shanghai in April 2014. The site was first found in early 2009, covering an area of about 16 hectares. It is preliminarily determined to be an ancie💛nt cultural site in the Shang and Zhou dynasties.
The botanical garden consists of four functional areas: the central exhibition area, the plant conservation area, the plant areas on five continents, and the peripheral buffer zone. The exhibition greenhouse covers an area of 12,608 square meters. It consists of Tropical Flower and Fruit Museum, Sand Botany Museum, and Exotic Botany Museum. It is the lꦉargest exhibition greenhouse group in Asia. Among them, Sand Botany Museum is the largest indoor sand botany exhibition hall in the world. Now Chenshan Botanical Garden is a national 4A-level scenic spot.

东莞(guan)方塔(ta)园(yuan)修建于1976年(nian)，占地面积182亩，原址为(wei)唐宋晚唐时期古(gu)(gu)(gu)华亭的闹区(qu)中(zhong)心的。苑区(qu)有各部无(wu)法手机(ji)端古(gu)(gu)(gu)墓葬共8处，表中(zhong)以(yi)及兴圣教寺塔(ta)，1998年(nian)13月(yue)被国务(wu)院办公厅宣布为(wei)全(quan)國特(te)别古(gu)(gu)(gu)墓葬保護(hu)计量(liang)机(ji)关企(qi)业(ye)单(dan)位(wei)(wei)；兰(lan)瑞堂、砖(zhuan)刻照壁、陈化成祠(ci)、天(tian)妃宫(gong)和望仙桥，2018年(nian)4月(yue)被市政(zheng)管(guan)理府宣布为(wei)东莞(guan)市古(gu)(gu)(gu)墓葬保護(hu)计量(liang)机(ji)关企(qi)业(ye)单(dan)位(wei)(wei)；北(bei)京(jing)在明(ming)雕像生(sheng)、张氏宅前厅，2016年(nian)6月(yue)被宣布为(wei)松江区(qu)古(gu)(gu)(gu)墓葬保護ꦅ(hu)计量(liang)机(ji)关企(qi)业(ye)单(dan)位(wei)(wei)。

Established in 1978, Shanghai Square Pagoda Park covers an area of 182 mu. Its original site was tꦏhe downtown of Huating during the Tang and Song Dynasties. There are 8 national, municipal, and district unmovable cultural relics in the park, including Xingshengjiao Temple Pagoda, which was announced as national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in November 1996; Lanrui Hall, Screen Wall of Engraved Bricks, Chen Huacheng Memorial Temple, Temple of the Queen of Heaven and Wangxian Bridge were announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014, Stone Statues of Ming Dynasty, Front Hall of Zhang’s Residence were announced as Songjiang district relics protection unit in June 2013.
The entire landscape is centered on the Square Pagoda of Northern Song Dynasty, surrounded by the Wangxian Bridge of Southern Song Dynasty, Screen Wall of Engraved Bricks of Ming Dynasty, Lanrui Hall, stone carving garden, Temple of the Qᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚueen of Heaven, Chen Huacheng Memorial Hall, Helou Veranda, Qichang Corridor and so on. The park is rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot.

With an area of 76 mu, Shanghai Zuibaichi Park is one of the five ancient gardens in Shanghai. There are two immova🧔ble cultural relics in the park, including Zuibaichi, which was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014; Woodcarving Hall, which was announced as Songjiang County Cultural Relics Protection Unit in July 1985. The predecessor of the garden was Guyang Garden, the residence of Zhu Zhichun, a jinshi (a successful candidate in the highest imperial examinations) in the Song Dynasty. The garden was also a place for Dong Qichang (a famous calligrapher and painter in Ming Dynasty) to drink and write poems. 370 years ago, during the period of Shunzhi of the Qing Dynasty, it was a private villa of Gu Dashen, chief of the Ministry of Works, he rebuilt the garden and changed its name to “Zuibaichi” because he worshipped Bai Juyi (poet of the Tang dynasty). The garden has many pavilions, terraces, and open halls such as Letian Xuan (a small room or veranda with windows) of the Song Dynasty, Simian (four sides) Hall, Yi Fang (a boat-shaped building), Reading Hall of the Ming Dynasty, and Cottage above the Pool, Xuehai Hall, Baocheng Building, Woodcarving Hall of the Qing Dynasty. Art treasures 🔴such as stone carvings of Zhao Mengfu's calligraphy authentic works “Visit to the Red Cliff” of Yuan Dynasty and steles of “Portraits of Excellent Talents in Yunjian” of Qing Dynasty are collected in the park. There are countless contemporary calligraphers’ inscribed tablets and couplets hanging in the park. Now the park is rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot.

Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture
广富林文(wen)化课古迹(ji)建(jian)在(zai)松江片(pian)区北方，东至(zhi)龙源(🍎yuan)路，南至(zhi)广富林路，西(xi)至(zhi)沈泾塘，北至(zhi)银泽(ze)北路，古迹(ji)密切(qie)相关(guan)范围(wei)约(yue)850亩,是(shi)当前经考(kao)古(gu)学得知的上海市29处遗存中富含东(dong)西最雄厚,最具(ju)维(wei)护与(yu)发掘🅷价值量(liang)的古诗词化古迹。广(guang)富林人文古迹中现共出3处必🦩不(bu)可挪(nuo)动历史藏品(pin)(pin)，之(zhi)中：广富林开云体育app遗存，2014年被国内核准(zhun)为第7批云南省历史藏品(pin)(pin)保护🌸区院校；1987年11月(yue)被对外🍬公(gong)布为(wei)武(wu)汉市文物保護公(gong)司保護公(gong)司；知也(ye)桥，2016年1月被发布文章为松(song)江区(qu)出土文物养护点。

Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture is in the north of Songjiang New City, it spans Longyuan Road to the east, Guangfulin Road to the south, Shenjing River to the west, and North Yinze Road to the north. Covering an area of about 850 mu, it is♕ the most abundant and valuable among 29 cultural sites in Shanghai. There are three immovable cultural relics on the site, including Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture, which was announced as national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in May 2013; Chen Zilong Tomb, which was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protectiꦕon unit in November 1987; Zhiye Bridge, which was announced as Songjiang district cultural relics protection point in January 2016.

Guangfulin Country Park is built around the five core elements of “field, water, road, forest, and village”, and is based on the natಌural ecological landscape of farming. It is composed of farm picking, fruiting scenery, wetland fishing villages, and camping bases. The block is divided into 12 areas, such as a rape flower field, green field trail, forest oxygen bar, Laolaiqing rice field, and leisurely trail in the paddy. Shanghai Pujiang River Source Sceꦰnic Spot is the starting point of Shanghai’s mother river, Huangpu River, also known as the “Zero Kilometer of Huangpu River”. The Xietang River and Yuanxiejing Creek, which meander from Jiangsu and Zhejiang, converge here to form a delta-shaped treasure land and flow into Huangpu River through Hengliaojing Creek. At the confluence of the three rivers, the river is vast, the sailboats in the river competing for the current, the nets rising and falling by the river, the reeds on the bund swaying, the pink peaches and green willows setting each other off. These breeds the endless scenery of a water town in the south of the Yangtze River, from which the scenic spot got its name “Pujiang River Source”. The whole scenic spot is divided into two parts: the abovegr💯ound part is “Shu-Liu-Li-Yun Pagoda” and “Chunshen Hall”, while the underground part is “Water Culture Exhibition Hall”. Songjiang Museum is a local chronicles museum, where the historical relics in Songjiang are collected, researched, and exhibited. The 2-storey exhibition room covers an🤡 area of 1,200 square meters. The basic exhibition of “Treasures Buried in the Sand”, which is divided into 3 portions named “Dawn of Huangpu River”, “Glisten of the Historical River” and “Painting Arts”, is on the second floor. The exhibition scientifically shows the cultural relics, which are held in the museum and unearthed in Songjiang, and reflects the achievements during the different periods of social development combined with landscape restoration, lightbox, multimedia, and other auxiliary display methods. The first floor is a temporary exhibition hall, and various special exhibitions are held from time to time. Located on the east and west sides outside the exhibition hall, the Stele Gallery is composed of long corridors and tablet pavilions. The East Stele Gallery displays the historical materials and inscriptions of Songjiang Pref𝔍ecture during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The West Stele Gallery displays the calligraphic art inscriptions of Zhao Mengfu, Dong Qichang, and Shen Quan.

Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty
松江唐经幢建(jian)在松江中山小(xiao)学的大学😼校绿化区，1985年10月被浙(zhe)江省人民政(zheng)府公布了为全国性关键点古墓葬维(wei)护标准。建(jian)于(yu)唐大中13年（859年），是(shi)现(xian)今伤害最🌄最古的室内(nei)地(di)坪搭建(jian)。经幢21级，高9.3米，八棱八面，故又被叫做(zuo)为八棱碑，熟(shu)称“唐经幢”，別名“石(shi)塔(ta)”。
Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty is located at the 🥂campus of Zhongshan Primary School, Songjiang. In January 1988, it was announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit. Established in 859, the pillar is the oldest ground building in Shanghai. The pillar is built of 21 stone blocks with a height of 9.3 meters. With eight ridges and eight slides, it is also known as the Eight-Ridge Pillar, commonly known as the “Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty”, also known as the “Stone Pilla🐠r”.

大仓桥(qiao)(qiao)靠近(jin)永(yong)丰街边中(zhong)河南路仓桥(qiao)(qiao)弄南，2018年(nian)4月被展示为东(dong)莞市古物维护(hu)企业单位，不是座高10余米(mi)，未能50余米(mi)的五孔桥(qiao)(qiao)拱(g🥂ong)大石桥(qiao)(qiao)。桥(qiao)(qiao)本名(ming)永(yong)丰，因(yin)桥(qiao)(qiao)南为松(song)江(jiang)府漕运(yun)仓城，故属称大仓桥(qiao)(qiao)。现为东(dong)莞的地方世界闻名(ming)的明(ming)清大石桥(qiao)(qiao)其中(zhong)之一。
Located at Cangqiao Lane South,𝄹 West Zhongshan Road in Yongfeng Sub-district, Dacang Bridge was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014. The bridge spans 50 meters long and 10 meters high over the river. It was formerly known as Yongfeng Bridge and later named Dacang Bridge for there was Water Transport Warehouse City of Songjiang Prefecture to the south of the bridge. It is one of the famous big stone bridges of the Ming Dynasty in Shanghai.

松江清真(zhen)寺(si)(si)(si)在岳(yue)阳街道办大(da)马(ma)路桥居委会(hui)缸甏巷(xiang)75ꦰ号(hao)，1980年(nian)八月(yue)份被发布文章为成(cheng)都(dou)市(shi)古(gu)工(gong)(gong)(gong)程(cheng)保(bao)护英(ying)文企(qi)业单位，是成(cheng)都(dou)东南部最(zui)先(xian)的伊斯(si)兰教(jiao)(jiao)佛教(jiao)(jiao)寺(si)(si)(si)庙，创建于元至正(zheng)年(nian)里（134在一年(nian)—136八年(nian)），初名真(zhen)教(jiao)(jiao)寺(si)(si)(si)。古(gu)代(dai)(dai)五代(dai)(dai)十(shi)国朝(chao)代(dai)(dai) 屡次翻修和续建，那么，目前的清真(zhen)寺(si)(si)(si)不但(dan)元代(dai)(dai)五代(dai)(dai)十(shi)国朝(chao)代(dai)(dai)的工(gong)(gong)(gong)程(cheng)代(dai)(dai)表(biao)性，又有(you)古(gu)代(dai)(dai)几代(dai)(dai)的工(gong)(gong)(gong)程(cheng)代(dai)(dai)表(biao)性。主题工(gong)(gong)(gong)程(cheng)大(da)点(dian)ཧ殿、窑殿、穿(chuan)廊(lang)，另有(you)南、北课堂，邦(bang)克门(men)等，另外窑殿和邦(bang)克门(men)两(liang)个地方最(zui)具该寺(si)(si)(si)工(gong)(gong)(gong)程(cheng)代(dai)(dai)表(biao)性。
Located at No.75 Gangbeng Alley, Maluqiao Neighborhood Committee in🌠 Yueyang Sub-district, Songjiang Mosque was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in August 1980. As one of the oldest mosques in Shanghai, Song🌠jiang Mosque was built during 1341-1368, also named Zhenjiao Mosque. After many renovations and expansions during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the mosque today features the style of construction of the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties. The main buildings include Central Hall, Kiln Hall, Crossing Corridor, North and South Speech Hall, and Bangke Chamber. Among them, the Kiln Hall and Bangke Chamber can best represent the traits of the Mosque.
西林禅寺
Xilin Temple
西林(lin)禅(shan)寺(si)，又(you)被粉丝称为(wei)崇恩寺(si)，建(jian)于南宋(song)咸淳车(che)间（1265—1271年）。明(ming)洪武二十二年（138八年）重新(xin)修(xiu)建(jian)，最靠(kao)近(jin)岳阳的(de)大街上中🍬(zhong)山(shan)里(li)路6610号。明(ming)正统(tong)皇敕封时赐名“大清西林(lin)禅(shan)寺(si)”。宫殿侧门有(you)块塔(ta)(ta)，名圆(yuan)应🧸宝塔(ta)(ta)，简(jian)称“西林(lin)塔(ta)(ta)”。圆(yuan)应塔(ta)(ta)（西林(lin)塔(ta)(ta)）1982年11月被公布为(wei)成都(dou)市文物自我保护(hu)(hu)自我保护(hu)(hu)公司的(de)。塔(ta)(ta)身七层八面(mian)，砖(zhuan)木设计，塔(ta)(ta)高46.5米，有(you)史以来仍为(wei)成都(dou)地段最高的(de)的(de)一(yi)个古塔(ta)(ta)。
Located at No.666 Middle Zhongshan Road in Yueyang Sub-district, Xilin Temple, also known as Chong’en Temple, was originally built during 1265-1274 and reconstructed in 1387. In Ming Dynasty, an emperor named it as Xilin Temple of Ming. Behind the main hall, there stands a 46.5-meter-high, 7-storey octagonal pagoda of brick and wood structure, which is called Yuanying Pagoda, also well-known as Xilin Pagoda. Announced as Shanghai municipal cultu🦹ral relics protection unit in September 1982, this pagoda is the tallest ancient pagoda in Shanghai.
